Exclusive Electronics Review: Ipod Touch 4G by Impulse

Apple iPod touch 32 GB (4th Generation) NEWEST MODELFor the very first time, we present you with an exclusive review on electronics! Yes, we mainly focus on games, but for now, we will be presenting all of you the all-new Ipod Touch 4th Gen with a review by Impulse. Basically, the newest version of Ipod Touch is definitely a must-have if you a fanatic in Apple products and electronics and it will change your life, in a positive way of course xD

SIR Rating: 8/10

Here are the breakdown of the main poitns:
+ Extremely convenient – The world is LITERALLY at your fingertips
-Easily scratchable back which also collects many fingerprints
-Top of ipod gets warm during gaming (hands may sweat)
+Retina display extremely clear
-No IPS display(only affects you if there are multiple viewers eg. Watching  movie)
+ Decent camera in extremely compact device
+Brilliant design and shape which fits your hand well
-Device hard to use while lying down backwards(requires two hands especially for those with small hands like me)
-Speakers a bit too weak but does its job
+Battery life is good considering performance
-A lot of simple things not taught in fingertips guide, such as changing songs while phone is in lock screen(double click home button)
+Fits perfectly in your pocket and will not bother you at all since its so slim
-Clumsy people please buy extended warranty(mainly for the screen)
-Earphone/headphone jack may protrude
+ Facetime is very convenient especially now that it is available for Mac
+ Extremely versatile device, time saving and easy to carry around (just take a video whenever you want to and edit on the spot with programs available and upload it after, SIMPLE!!)

*Sorry we couldn’t include the video test but what I have experienced is that it is darker than the iphone 4 but is still pretty decent.

*The latest version of Ipod Touch comes in 3 different sizes for storage- 8Gb, 32GB and 64GB. We recommend the 32GB one as the 8GB will only be about 7GB with the iOS and other stuff, add some music, apps and maybe a movie and its totally full. Besides, the 32GB one is much cheaper compared to the 64GB one, and is more than sufficient unless you really are one apps/movies addict!

*Final words...the 32GB seems to be the sweet spot after all and go for it if you can afford it, and trust me, you will never regret! :D
