Pokemon Black and White has been a success for Nintendo this year, but that hasn't stop them from moving on and starting to produce another Pokemon game. According to Dengeki Nintendo, a rather popular magazine in Japan, the next issue will feature a revelation of the next Pokemon Game, but no details have been made yet. Since then, many have speculated its presence in the 3DS and Wii 2, or preferably known as the Nintendo Stream now. In fact, if the next Pokemon game is releasing in 2012, there may be a strong possibility that it will be offered as a bundle with Nintendo's next home console.
With only 2 months since the release of Black and White, and the launch of Pokemon Global Link just a few weeks ago, some may doubt the certainty of this rumor for it seems like it's a tad too quick. But I believe that this news is true, as Nintendo really need to catch up to reach the top again. However, I suspect that it will feature the same Pokemon format as 5 generations in the franchise remains the same. In fact, the same format that it preserves proved rather interesting as it invariably manages to engage players over and over again. Nevertheless, it will be good if there is some change... finally after more than 10 years! Also, I am inclined that the next Pokemon game will be a 'the-best-of-black-and-white' compilation enhancement, featuring both legendaries just like Pokemon Emerald and Platinum.
