Join these alliances as fantastic heroes, and aid your allies vanquish your enemies in epic skirmishes and plunder bountiful treasures from dungeons all over the world. Aid others as you begin the long ascent to Level 60, while discovering the world and finding treasures like no other. Earn your weight in gold, silver and copper by taking up professions such as tailoring, blacksmithing and alchemy and create fantastic armours, weapons and much much more. This is the World of Warcraft!

World of Warcraft is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), continuing Blizzard’s Warcraft series. The world is set four years after Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and players take the roles of heroes.

You may play as heroes from 8 races:

Alliance

·         Human

·         Dwarf

·         Gnome

·         Night Elf

Horde

·           Orc

·           Troll

·           Tauren

·           Undead

 And from nine classes:

·         Warrior

·         Paladin

·         Shaman

·         Hunter

·         Rogue

·         Priest

·         Warlock

·         Mage

 They gain experience by killing monsters, exploring dungeons with others and completing quests, and work their way up to level 60. As they grow in level, they learn new spells and abilities and may also buy mounts that allow them to move faster. Once players reach level 60, they can attempt raids, which are large dungeons with immensely powerful creatures, and 40 players are needed to defeat the bosses. However, the rewards and bounties at the end make the fight worth it. Powerful weapons, strong armours and trinkets are up for grabs for those strong enough to brave the raids.

Personally, I have played World of Warcraft for several years and I have to admit it is amazing and addictive. It is a pay to play game and has a high start-up cost. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth it.
