Modern Warfare 3 "will be a really good game" says EA

Wow! This is news. EA CEO John Riccitiello recently admitted that he thinks that Modern Warfare 3 "will be a really good game". Well, he feels that MW3 is more marketable especially for less-matured gamers due to its "Disneyland abstraction". Thinking about it, it's rather true isn't it, or is he being sarcastic?

"The honest truth is I think Modern Warfare is going to be a really good game.I think that in a weird way it's starting to feel a little to me like the Disneyland abstraction of a war game - a little bit jump the shark. So it feels a little bit like that to me. And I think there's a market for that."

However, he also pointed out that...

"I think our game is more authentic. It's definitely going to do a lot of things better. Lighting's better, physics is better, animations are better, particle effects are better, vehicles are better. I think there's a lot of things to like about our product and I think it's going to be a great battle."

And emphasising that..

"I do think we've got the better game, the better tack"

Well, you've heard what he said, I'm shocked, are you? Nevertheless, it will certainly be an interesting battle when the two rivals release.

*Battlefield 3 releases on the 25th of October for the PC, Xbox360 and Ps3 while Modern Warfare 3 on the 8th of November.
