Sony PlayStation to Reveal New Desert-Based Game?

Well, we all know that the E3 is coming very soon. At that time, video games will go on a killing spree, future console devices will be made playable and the whole scene will be entirely crazy. But just less than a week before the event, something desert-y sneaks upon us.

Quite recently, Sony's Official PlayStation Website featured a mysterious counter counting down to this Wednesday. That, is particularly strange enough. On top of that, the website depicted a tiny little man running across a vast, endless desert, and when u click on him, he will run faster! That, is even mind-boggling.

There are two possibilities. One, something special is going to be unveiled about the upcoming Unchartered 3. Second, a new video game will be revealed. However, the question remains - why didn't Sony wait till the E3 itself?
