Confirmed - PSN Returning to Asia, Including Malaysia and Singapore!

It has been quite a while since PSN's first restored; and though its rather depressing to say that while the western side of the world have been enjoying themselves, the eastern side has been eagerly waiting and some sulking for the return of PSN. Personally, I find this entire situation rather interesting - countless number of people seem to be dependent on a mere gaming network service. However, this piece of news is a news worth rejoicing and to all PSN users, congratulations, the service you have been waiting for has finally arrived!

According to Sony, who has confirmed this piece of news this morning, the service will return in stages in 5 countries - starting on the 28th for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan and Thailand. For the case of Japan, the service will only return partially.

For a start, the services that will return are:

• Sign-in and password change for PSN
• PlayStation Home and Friends List
• PS3 and PSP online play
• Custom Theme Download

Though the list is not really long, we finally get something instead of nothing at all.

Now, as you should already know, all PSN users will get a Welcome Back pack as an apology for the delay and attack. After you have changed your password (this is necessary), you will be given a chance to choose two games out of the list of games below:

PS3

• Hustle King
• Loco Roco: Cocoreccho
• Echochrome
• Wipeout HD
• The Last Guy

PSP

• What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord 2 
• Minna no Sukkiri 
• Patapon 2 
• LittleBigPlanet PSP 
• LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival

Though honestly, there's really nothing special about the games they offer, no harm trying them out since you got the chance. Cheers!
